Iggy Azalea And Alice Chater Lola Song Lyrics. “Lola” is the first official single off of Iggy’s third official EP Wicked Lips released on November 8th, 2019. The song is a collaboration with British pop singer Alice Chater. The two artists first interacted on twitter expressing their mutual admiration before they finally decided to meet and work together. Alice flew to Atlanta for a studio session with the rapper on September 24, 2019.

The song explores themes like duality, bipolar traits and one’s different personalities. Interestingly, it interpolates the Dean Martin version of the famous 1954 track “Mambo Italiano” originally sung by American singer and actress Rosemary Clooney.

A music video for the song was released on the same day. It was directed by Iggy herself with the help of long-time friend and photographer Thom Kerr.
