“MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT” is MONSTA X’s fifth English-language single released promotionally ahead of their album ALL ABOUT LUV.

The track, along with other ALL ABOUT LUV singles, shows a softer and relaxed side of MONSTA X in comparison to their previous signature hard-hitting songs. The lyrics describe the desire to leave a romantic partner, but being drawn back by what that entails and realizing how deep your feelings truly are.

The cover art doesn’t appear to feature ex-member Wonho at first glance, but at closer analysis, he appears in the puddle in front of them.

MONSTA X will be dropping a surprise pre-release single today, December 6 at 12 PM KST!

Just ahead of the surprise single release, MONSTA X took to their official SNS to share a sneak MV preview featuring the members dressed up in sleek, black suits. The preview clip ends with a simple line from the groovy new track, "Middle of the Night".
