This track was leaked on October 19th 2014 and officially released on October 25th 2014, the day after Drake’s birthday, as one of three promo tracks for his upcoming album, Views From the 6,along with “6 God” and “Heat of the Moment”. These songs were stolen by hackers, which prompted Drizzy to post them for free.It’s also a bonus track on the physical version of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.
On August 2, 2019, the song was re-released after Drake dropped Care Package on all major streaming platforms — a project he describes as “some of our most important moments together available in one place.” The release comes nearly six months after Drake re-released his breakout mixtape So Far Gone.
